We are met at the dawn of a new day

A new year begins! A new year is always a time of great ambivalence, since we get to look behind us, but the future is a blank space, a dark tunnel, an empty highway. We cannot know what new faces people our tomorrows, what new sight awaits, just out of our range of vision. We can only stumble on into the darkness, and hope that it leads us to a light. The adventure of life is to walk into the unknown, and after all, every morning is a door into the new, like the man said who stood at the gate of the year said.
