The Republican Dream

Make a deal, any deal, as long as it makes you money.
If someone else doesn't have something, they don't deserve it, because they haven't worked hard enough. If people are unhappy with the way things are, they are obviously just wanting a handout. Or, worse, they are dreamers. If people don't agree with the government, they are guilty of treason. Never tell the whole truth, because the truth is too much for the masses. Privilege is worth preserving, at any cost, if it is your own.

This is the Republican Dream, and the reality of the Bush years!

Woe unto the next president that inherits the Bush legacy...and, moreover, woe unto the country that does the same.
