The Demands of Fashion; or, Is it cold in here?

Getting cold outside, so out come the winter clothes that escaped calamity at the hands of my ex. Enough about her; I have banished her to the nether regions of the phantom zone of my mind. Speaking of other universes, or, at least, other worlds and other possibilities, I always find it intriguing when a noted scientist advances a theory that challenges complacent and conservative minds in the field.
